Game Principle

LeMafioso is an online text-based strategy game. You play as a beginner character at the very bottom of a mafia family hierarchy, plunged into an organized criminal world where every decision carries real weight.
Alliances can be as precious as they are dangerous, and betrayal is never far away. Your goal is to climb the ranks, accumulate money, respect, and influence to impose yourself within your family… or change it if the opportunity arises.

You are free to accept or refuse missions proposed by your superiors,
You decide the crimes you wish to commit, the risks you are willing to take, and the path you want to follow.
Will you serve your family loyally, or will you try to play on multiple fronts? Will you stay in your neighborhood to consolidate your power, or will you risk ending up behind bars?
In LeMafioso, no decision is trivial: every action can bring you closer to the top… or precipitate your fall.

Gameplay

In LeMafioso, every player plays an important role within their family, regardless of their rank.
Even the lowest-ranking members can influence the future of their organization through their actions, choices, and loyalty.
Internal family activities are strictly confidential. Missions, strategic decisions, and secret actions are visible only to the members concerned. Rival families have no access to this information, reinforcing the secret, immersive, and realistic aspect of the game.

Every family must be led by an active Don.
In case of prolonged inactivity (three weeks without action), the Don automatically loses their rank. The member immediately below in the hierarchy then takes their place.

This system guarantees living, dynamic families and avoids abandoned structures. New players can join a family at any time, bringing new opportunities… or new risks. It is up to you to decide if you grant them your trust or if you prefer to keep your distance.
Gameplay relies on managing power, discretion, and human relations. Every decision can strengthen your family or provoke internal conflicts, external rivalries, or even your downfall.
